This article explains how to calibrate the touchscreen on your Android 4.0 or later.

Here's how to use the Touchscreen Calibration app, which is free and available for download from the Google Play Store.

Install and launch the Touchscreen Calibration app.

Follow the instructions to perform actions on the Test Pad in the app until your device passes all the tests.

After all the tests are complete, you receive a notification indicating the calibration is done. Tap OK.

Restart your device. Relaunch the application if you feel the calibration was not successful.

Some of the first Android devices up to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) had a built-in calibration option. Depending on the device and Android version, the location of this setting varies but is generally at Menu > Settings > Language & keyboard > Touch Input > Text Input. Under Finger touch precision, tap Calibration tool or Reset calibration.

To take a screenshot, you can ask Google Assistant to "take a screenshot" with a voice command. Or, you can press and hold Power and Volume Down.

To delete apps on an Android phone, swipe up from the home screen. Tap and hold the app > Uninstall > OK.
