Hailey Bieber Makes Glow-in-the-Dark Nails Cool Again | Glamour

Hailey Bieber's latest manicure is bringing back the nostalgia. Remember that time, back at school, when any glow-in-the-dark item (from wall stickers to glow sticks) was just the best thing ever? If it felt like those days were well and truly behind you, then you are yet to see Bieber’s latest off-kilter nail design. The model and beauty founder is single-handedly bringing the trend back.

Because who said spring nails had to mean floral nail art and pastel shades? When it comes to her fingertips, Bieber is always experimenting with different looks, and her latest lime-green manicure—complete with gold swirly detailing—is a fun way to approach a change of season, mainly because her nails actually light up in the dark.

On Instagram Stories, the model first shared a photo of her manicure in natural lighting, showing off the acid green color. In the next story, her manicure completely transforms in the dark.

You don’t have to be wearing gel polish or have your nails done professionally to try out a glow-in-the-dark manicure, either. A number of high-street nail brands offer their own polishes to embellish your manicures at home. Sally Hansen’s Insta Dri Glow range is excellent, while Morgan Taylor’s Glow-tn-the-Dark Top Coat can be added on to any existing color for a little extra va-va-voom. Forget carrots: This is all you need to help you see in the dark.
