The first major One Piece Odyssey DLC pack has been announced. Reunion of Memories will reunite the Straw Hat Pirates for another adventure, and this one will be more heavily focused on combat. You'll also get to meet some One Piece characters who didn't turn up in Odyssey.

In Reunion of Memories, Luffy and his companions will delve "into the abyss of Waford", according to Bandai Namco. You'll get to cross paths with new characters, watch a brand new story unfold, and generally spend more time in the company of the Straw Hats, which is no bad thing. As well as the trailer, Bandai Namco has also released a video in which One Piece Odyssey producer Katsuaki Tsuzuki explains what you can expect from the DLC. Tsuzuki says that the key theme for this DLC will be "New Hidden Story with Bonds", and that it will incorporate fan-favorite battles and moments from the manga and anime. If you're a One Piece fan, it sounds like this DLC has been made for you.

Tsuzuki says that the story of Reunion of Memories will revolve heavily around combat. It'll present new challenges for you that should be taxing even if you've completed the main story; in fact, the DLC is designed for those who've already cleared One Piece Odyssey, and it'll offer "battles that demand a more tactical approach", as well as introducing new special win conditions.

We don't currently have a release date for One Piece Odyssey: Reunion of Memories, but Tsuzuki says he and his team are aiming to get the DLC into your hands "very soon". More information will be available soon, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, you can pick up One Piece Odyssey right now on PC, PlayStation consoles, and Xbox Series X|S.
