The Birmingham Water Works Board on Wednesday said there is nothing wrong with its billing system and held a live demonstration of its meter and billing practices. Rigging Eye Bolts

"There is nothing wrong with our billing system," BWWB spokesman Rick Jackson said. "Let me say it loud and clear. Every bill that we've been presented with since the system has been implemented in 2016 we have never had an issue with our system."

Jackson said the water works looks at billing complaints on a case-by-case basis.
